
En Santiago Rodríguez, el Tribunal Colegiado condenó recientemente, a 30 años de prisión, al ciudadano Jonathan Saviel Alcántara Jáquez tras ser encontrado culpable de tentativa de homicidio agravado contra su expareja, Juanisi Valerio Martínez, su hija menor de edad y una amiga de la niña.
El escalofriante suceso tuvo lugar el pasado 12 de septiembre de 2023 en la comunidad El Caimital, Villa Los Almácigos, donde, de acuerdo con el informe de las autoridades, Alcántara Jáquez atacó a Valerio Martínez con un cuchillo tras no aceptar el fin de la relación, originándole múltiples heridas.
La investigación estuvo a cargo de la magistrada fiscalizadora Ramona Taveras, y la procuradora fiscal Denis Guzmán presentó pruebas contundentes que llevaron al tribunal a imponer la sentencia más severa. El tribunal destacó la gravedad del caso y subrayó la necesidad de condenar estos actos para combatir la violencia de género y proteger a las más vulnerables.
Alcántara Jáquez deberá cumplir la condena en la cárcel pública de Santiago Rodríguez.
