Who are the victims of the Apalachee, Georgia school shooting? This we know

The community of Winder, Georgia, suffered a shooting at Apalachee Elementary School on Wednesday, the deadliest of the 45 school shootings in the United States so far this year. Two students and two teachers died in the attack. Here’s what we know about the victims.

Authorities identified the four people killed in Wednesday’s shooting as:

  • Mason Schermerhorn, 14.
  • Christian Angulo, 14.
  • Richard Aspinwall, 39, math teacher and assistant football coach.
  • Christina Irimie, 53, math teacher.

Authorities also reported nine other people were injured: eight students and one teacher. All were taken to hospitals with injuries, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. All of the injured are expected to recover.
