Job Fair: Check out the companies that are hiring in NY here

NEW YORK — New York City held a job fair on Wednesday where thousands of people attended City Hall hoping to find work. The event was organized by Congressman Adriano Espaillat.

Dozens of entities from both the private and public sectors participated in the fair. It is evident here, judging by the long line, that there is a great demand for jobs by those looking to enter the workforce or simply want to find a better job, but fortunately according to Congressman Espaillat, the job offer is also wide.

“At this job fair, there are often cases where employers offer the job right there to people. In other cases, they take their resume and CV and call them later for an interview,” said the congressman.

Many city agencies are looking for workers, including the Police Department.

“Different parts of the Police Department are accepting people with different qualities, not only police officers, they can be administrative,” said a spokesman.

Below we share a list of the identities that are looking for employees and that were part of the fair in case you were unable to attend.
